Harley Quinn Season 2 Episode 9 2020 definitely needs a little levity and, luckily for us all, the newest episode of Harley Quinn has it by the bucket load. Although as funny as “Bachelorette” is–and trust us, it’s really funny–there’s also some bittersweet moments too, but we’ll get to those later. For now luxuriate in the joy of watching Harley Quinn try to organize a bachelorette party for the woman that she loves!...
For those of us who grew up with the golden age of The Simpsons and like our sitcoms densely packed with clever, layered jokes, there’s a lot less out there. Bob’s Burgers and its offspring The Great North are pretty great, but there’s a simpler, gentler vibe to those. Their storylines are solidly constructed, they’re full of heart, and you can usually count on several laughs per episode (The Great North‘s Judy Tobin might be the most notable breakout comedy character since, well, Rick and/or Morty)....
Episode 5 of Marvel’s Hawkeye, “Ronin”, finally let most of our intrepid not-quite-heroes discover that they are just pawns in a bigger game between some very strategic players. It also saved its last shot for the reveal that fans of Netflix’s Daredevil have been waiting for: the return of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. But before that, some conversations needed to be had, and these extended chats occasionally found me checking the remaining episode time....

The series, developed by erstwhile TV titan Joss Whedon, brings quite a few competing elements to the table. For starters, it’s set in a steampunk version of Victorian-era London. Ladies wear corsets, men wear bowlers, and everyone wears the same dour expression as they smell the rancid air around them. Then, in addition to its steampunk leanings, The Nevers goes full on X-Men with its hook. Due to a mysterious event, a sizable percentage of London society (though predominantly women) have developed supernatural mutant-like abilities....
In “Fear and Loathing in New Vegas,” the fifth entry in CBS All Access’ nine-part adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand, we get to spend a significant amount of time in Las Vegas, where the demonic Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgard) has established his sinister kingdom. There are other important plot developments in the course of the episode, such as the aftermath of Teddy Weizak’s (Eion Bailey) murder at the hands of Harold (Owen Teague) and Nadine (Amber Heard) — which they made to look like a suicide — as they construct their destructive plans; Frannie’s (Odessa Young) growing suspicions about Harold and her own plan to do something about it; and the abrupt departure of Mother Abigail (Whoopi Goldberg) as she seeks guidance from God....
